Nehal Kumath: Founder’s Story
After studying and working with leading fashion houses in London, I began questioning the industry’s pace, the constant, wasteful chase of fleeting trends and the invisibility of the artisans behind each garment.
Returning to India, I wanted to build something more meaningful. That vision became Drama Club, a brand born from the question: where is the high-quality, dressy occasionwear that’s timeless yet accessible?
I wanted clothes that empower through thoughtful design, celebrating fit, finish, and comfort across diverse body types. At its heart, Drama Club honours the craftsmen behind the clothes, bridging Indian craftsmanship with contemporary western aesthetics.
Ultimately, it’s my vision of “dressing right” with care, confidence, and character, while always having a little fun.
